The contemplation on ‘What should KG Engineering’s 30 year new start company building be like?’ leads to creating a place that expresses the ‘value’ and ‘belief’ of ‘WE’.
Our philosophy of “Endless through, endless transformation, endless challenge＂became the stylobate that supports the top and our cores “Engineer", “Technology", “Know-how＂ create the place that embraced all of these expressed in an Eternal Cube.
The contemporary façade pattern embracing the sky and park amid the urban landscape of static and authoritative judicial complex creates a volume in the building and the texture and color transforms diversely depending on the direction of light.
Interior
The exterior naturally draws nature in and it has been designed into a space where the interior and exterior can correspond. As you enter the lobby, you’d be able to sense the pleasant spatial impression while simultaneously appreciating nature at a close distance through the curtain wall frame at the western side. Media wall has been installed at the top to assign spatial expandability and furniture has been allocated for employees to rest while overlooking nature.
Creating this space for healing. By exhibiting eye-catching works of art at every spot possible so that everyone can enjoy, get inspired, relate, share feelings and imagination.
Our theme being, traveling all around the world, landmarks from all around the countries are painted on the walls of emergency stair hall at KG TOWER with fifteen stories above ground and four below. Saving the best one for the last, landmark in Korea is placed at the end of the journey. The emergency stairs are used as a gallery so that our employees can take stairs more often to exercise in their busy lives along with enjoying the painting. The cafeteria on the 2nd floor connected to the lobby on the 1st floor by the stairs is an open space for communication and connection and it has been designed as a space where rest can be taken, while facing nature, away from work.
The Conference Room on the 3rd floor has been planned as a space where small-scale meetings to casual joint work and rest can coexist.
Work space has been designed to offer pleasant and wide space by assigning a white tone to the furniture and walls.
It has been created so that the executives and employees could feel pride in the company while ensuring that exchanges and concentration could coexist between executives and employees.
It has been designed as a space that offers psychological comfort by creating an indoor garden, offering nature indoors.
A touch of modern and refined sensation creates a private atmosphere while the connection to the rooftop garden offers spatial expansion. Despite being the middle of the city, it has been expressed as a space where visitors can enjoy the beauty and refreshing aspect of nature together with the city view through landscaping.
